Good tools.
Fewer interruptions.
MAKbench is a collection of small utilities for the tasks that sit between bigger things. Decode a string, clean up a document, inspect a token, and get back to what you were doing.
Made by MAK Labs, where we build software that makes work simpler.
A practical starting point.
The first collection includes encoding, JSON formatting, hashes, identifiers, timestamps, and text utilities. Inspired by the utility-first approach of CyberChef, these are independent implementations built for quick, individual tasks. MAKbench is not affiliated with CyberChef and does not yet include its full operation library or recipe system.
Your work stays with you.
- Tools process inputs in your browser. Input and output are never submitted to a server.
- Inputs live in memory and are cleared when you leave or reload a tool. They are not automatically saved.
- Favorites and theme preferences use localStorage on this device.
- Save draft explicitly stores the current tool’s input and operation in IndexedDB on this device. Load draft restores it; Delete draft removes it. Avoid saving secrets on a shared device.
- Clearing this site’s browser data removes saved preferences and drafts.
Simple by design.
No account, no remote processing, and no analytics SDK is enabled in this version. If usage analytics is added later, the integration is designed to record tool identifiers and categories, without collecting input or output text.
